CONNECT

I’ll personally reply to your inquiry and you’ll be able to view my calendar to book the best available date following a $100 deposit to secure the date. We’ll collaborate to plan the session, including location, style, and logistics! I’ll guide you through wardrobe and tips to prepare for the shoot.

Hopefully, after taking a few moments to look through my website or social media, and reviews, my work and style speak to you. When you’re ready, you can start the photography booking process by filling out the “book now" form on my website.

The photoshoot

My favorite part! I’ll guide and direct you during the session to achieve the best results, and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience!

I’ll edit and curate the best images from the session. This final collection will consist of high-resolution images, delivered to you via online gallery. (7-14 business day turnaround.)

FAQ

  • I do not offer wedding photography services, but I would be happy to recommend a few talented photographers if you're interested!

  • The portrait session turnaround time is 7-14 business days from your session date.

  • MLP retains complete control over the culling and editing process. After the portrait session, each image is put through a careful selection process where MLP selects images that meet her high standards of quality. Images with eyes closed, unflattering poses, and duplicate images are removed permanently during the culling process.

  • Final images are provided via an online gallery, you can easily order prints directly from your private gallery at your own convenience.

  • Depending on which session you book, location(s) & time of year will determine the exact start time. (a good reference is 1-2 hours prior to sunset time for the standard session. Morning & afternoon sessions are offered upon request using specific locations that work best for that lighting. In-home sessions are flexible, I typically chat with you about the lighting in your home.

  • My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident and photograph you at your best! + Hopefully, make you laugh and have a great time! :) That is a real beauty and it will shine through in your images. I do however provide a reasonable amount of skin editing for blemishes etc.

  • Wear something you feel good in, be yourself, and don’t shy away from having fun with your clothes! Wear colors that complement each other but you don’t need to be twinning.

  • Around the 7.5-month mark is usually the sweet spot. You want to be showing plenty but also not push it too close to your due date. This is for overall comfort and also not to risk missing your session completely due to early labor.

  • Yes! we typically will start the session with natural posing with the family (parents, siblings, and even fur babies)
